Such Will Power ....

Sat May 23, 2009, 7:48 PM
No, I am not talking about any of those Green Lantern Corps members.

:iconardian-syaf:

I am talking about our friend here who made his success to enter the both of the big two, Ardian Syaf ... er Adrian Saef, like what Diamond Comics typed his name. Check June 2009's PREVIEWS catalog on the DC Comics section.

He has been working on Marvel's gig Nightcrawler One-shot and Captain Britain & MI-13. He's also responsible for some of the sequential pencil pages for Justice League of America #34, and now he's working on DC Comics' hottest title event, BLACKEST NIGHT : BATMAN.

This should be encouraging for us other local Indonesian artists who wish to be working on any established comic publishers in the United States, or any other places in the world. I consider him to be one of the local artist role models that we should be looking up to.

Sure there are lots of established artists emerged from Indonesia such as Admiranto Wijayadi, Garrie Gastonny, Erfan Fajar, and other Indonesian artists at Imaginary Friends Studios [link] But this single person's talent is sooo exceptional.

Congratulations on your gigs, mate. We all hoping to be able to follow your footsteps very soon. And thank you very much for the hard works. We are all look up to you and your next works.

:superman:
so, do you think it's a good idea to make use of comics as an inspiration? my thesis is about comical photography, and i propose to work on dynamic shots, comics i think gives a great preference in terms of lights, shadows, placing, and the action and drama itself of every scene, do you agree?
